In this opportunity we'll take you to get to know the magnificent Chapada Diamantina located in a mountainous region to the northeast of Brazil, formed by beautiful rivers, caves, and incredible waterfalls.

We start our adventure in Salvador de Bahia, where we have time to get to know this beautiful destination, with its historic center, with its cobblestone streets and colorful houses before continuing on to the National park of the Chapada Diamantina. There you can get lost for three days by the amazing trails of the Vale do Patisurrounded by nature is huge and amazing that will leave you amazed. Enjoy its mountains and waterfalls where we can refresh and connect with the environment in a way that I never experienced.

In addition, perform one of the trekking the most beautiful of Brazil and of South America, we will get to know the culture of the natives of the Valley first-hand. We will finish our trip enjoying one of the most beautiful beaches of Bahia.

Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome in Salvador de Bahia

On our first day, we will be finding with the travellers at the hostel in the city of Salvador, Bahia, one of the most popular destinations in Brazil. We will have time to walk the Pelourinho, the historic and cultural center of the city, declared a world Heritage site by Unesco, walking through the streets paved and admire its colonial splendour. 

Day 2: Getting To Know Lençóis

Early in the morning we will enjoy a rich breakfast in the hostel before heading in the direction of Lençóis, a town in the National Park Chapada Diamantina. Once at our destination, we will have free time to enjoy the picturesque place surrounded by the mountains., explore their streets with colorful houses and tiled roofs to two waters, get to know their markets food and much more.

Day 3: The start of our adventure in the Chapada

Después de desayunar, saldremos de Lençóis y nos trasladaremos al inicio de nuestra aventura de tres días por el parque Chapada Diamantina. Iniciaremos una caminata en Vila do Guiné hasta el Vale do Pati. Subiremos el Morro do Beco, pasaremos por los Gerais do Rio Preto hasta llegar a uno de los lugares desde donde tendremos una de las vistas más lindas del valle. Luego de esto, continuaremos nuestro recorrido hasta la casa de los nativos que nos brindarán hospedaje donde podremos conocer de primera mano sus costumbres y tradiciones. En total caminaremos unos 10 km aproximadamente.

Day 4: Between waterfalls and hills

On our second day in the park, we'll have a walk of about 16 km in total, until the Cachoeira dos Funis where you can enjoy a refreshing bath before you continue with the path that will take us up to the Morro do Castelo, one of the highest points of the Vale do Pati from which we can enjoy a breathtaking view. Late in the afternoon, we will return to the house where we are staying. 

Day 5: A little bit more of Chapada Diamantina

We will begin our third day of adventure in the Chapada with a rich coffee, and then start the walk that will take us to the Cachoeirão by top, one of the most famous points in the Vale do Pati by its nearly 300-foot drop of water. On this day we will walk for about 18 km away. At the end of the day we return to our accommodation in Lençóis.

Day 6: Surrounded by nature

Desde temprano saldremos de Lençóis. Una vez en nuestro destino visitar uno de los lugares más mágicos de la zona, el Poço Azul conocido por sus aguas cristalinas y por la profundidad de sus aguas. Al finalizar la tarde retornaremos hacia Lençóis y podremos disfrutar de la última noche en este maravilloso pueblo. 

Day 7: back to Salvador

During the morning we will start our return journey to Salvador de Bahia, late in the afternoon we will transfer to the hostel and we will have the rest of the evening free to enjoy this beautiful city.

Day 8: Farewell

We will have the day free to enjoy Savior of the way that you prefer before starting to bid farewell. Because a great trip is to (re)know each other on what they had learned. It is always important to return to the place of origin to share experiences, photos, and experiences that we have embodied throughout our stay.

What is not included?

Lunches, snacks and dinners, are for the account of each traveler. You can choose where and with whom to eat. The budget will depend on the type of place, but are generally estimated USD 20-25 per day, including lunch and dinner.

For you to travel in company, we can advise you and give you the information about flights in which he travels the majority of the group of travelers and the team of Voltage. Remember that the first and last day of the itinerary, you can arrive or leave at any time.

We will stay in hostels with all the necessary amenities, in-room shared only with the group of Voltage. Also, the use of the bathroom is also shared. 

We recommend carrying between 300 and 400 extra dollars for food and other everyday expenses in travel (souvenirs, extra activities, etc).

Those who move back and forth from your country of residence to Salvador de Bahia. We will recommend you the best option available to you once you have contacted. Remember that the higher the advance you buy your flight, the better will be the price that you can get.
