Cabo Polonio, one of the most beautiful places in Uruguay
As usual, we'll go over a weekend to Cabo Polonio and Flares to live an incredible experience.
We will begin the adventure in the Bar, Flares, a beach town famous for being nestled among huge sand dunes and a creek that bears his name. At the same time, this place is defined as a simple people, and warm in where they live throughout the year, fishermen and tourists.
Then we will visit Cabo Polonio located within one of the most important National Parks of Uruguay. This coastal area marine has a large heterogeneity of natural environments, including sandy beaches, rocky headlands, sand dunes, native forest on the coast, a small wetlands, atmosphere, ocean and islands.
Through this proposal we want to invite you to tour Cabo Polonio and know Valizas and that you live your own experience in these places of your dreams. We want you to forget the luxuries that you can have in the urban areas and let yourself enchant with the naturalness of the semi-virgin beaches and secluded that characterize the place

Itinerary
Day 1
From early morning we will leave from Montevideo in the direction of the department of Rocha. Past noon, I will be arriving to the Bar of Flares where we will have part of the afternoon at leisure for lunch, enjoy the beach, relax and/or do some play on the sand.
In the afternoon we will start the hike of 8 miles through the dunes and coastal edge that will take us directly to Cabo Polonio, where we will spend the night.
During the tour we will arrive at Cerro de la Buena Vista, from where you can go to enjoy the landscape and sunset of this mythical place.
Day 2
Early in the morning we will wake up to see the sunrise. Then we will have breakfast and later we can go for a walk by the sea lion area, the reserve of sea lions and make the ascent to the famous Lighthouse of Cabo Polonio, returning to your accommodation for lunch.
Later in the afternoon, we will take the truck to the Door of Polonium and we will make a guided tour through the Forest of Tree until you reach a point where we will have a privileged view of the Lagoon of Castles.
At the end of this tour, we'll return to our transport and we aprontaremos to return to Montevideo.

What must I bring?
- Beanie hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, mosquito repellent
- Footwear trekking or one with outsole for good grip
- Mesh or a bathing suit and towel
- Pants long sports or tights for hiking
- Backpack girl to use during walks, maximum 20 litres
- Warm clothes for the night
- Water bottle or bottle to refill water

- Bags for waste
- Personal medication, in case of need

Throughout our experience we will travel in a private transport, convenient for travel that we perform within the country and exclusive to our group.
Yes, if you have any request to diet, food allergies or intolerances in particular, you must indicate this when you contact us prior to your trip. That way we can inform our suppliers to do the best to meet your needs. It is also important that at the time of the trip to tell your coordinator for your dietary needs.

A few days prior to the date of the experience we will contact you through WhatsApp and we'll give you the schedules and meeting point with the rest of the group and your coordinator.
According to our Policies Returns & exchanges, in the case of cancellation on the part of the company, due to a storm or any other reason beyond our control, you'll be able to reschedule your experience to an alternative date without any penalty, by paying the price difference if any.
