When you book or to participate in any of the adventures of Voltage, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:
1. BOOKINGS
1.1. Para reservar un viaje, deberás realizar el pago de la cantidad de dinero que se indicará en cada aventura. Volate acepta la reserva entendiendo que el pago total de la aventura se realizará en las fechas establecidas, es decir hasta 60 días antes de la salida.
1.2. It is your responsibility to make the appropriate reservations to hotels or other services that are outside of the itinerary proposed by Voltage.
1.3. It is your responsibility to buy the airfare, and make sure that these are correct. Voltage will advise on the purchase, but in no case will take care of the emerging that may arise with regard to the flight.
1.4. You must be at least 18 years of age to make a reservation. You agree to provide complete and accurate information at the time of booking.
1.5. If you are booking on behalf of other people, you assume that you will be the contact person for this booking. This means that you are responsible for making all payments due, notify Voltage if you require cancellations or changes and keep informed your group.
1.6. By booking on behalf of another person or persons, you represent and warrant that you have obtained all necessary consents. You are responsible for verifying that any information you provide on behalf of another participant is complete and accurate. Voltage shall not be liable under any circumstances for any error or omission in the information provided to complete a booking.
2. PRICE
2.1. The prices published by Voltage, are subject to change up to 15 days prior to departure, either before or after the confirmation of your booking. The company reserves the right to change the price of the trip taking into account any extra charges that may arise in the planning period of the adventure.
2.2. If the price change is an increase of over 10% of the total price of the adventure, Voltage you will know immediately this modification to the client, who may be able to rescind the contract.
2.3. The company has the right to drop the price of the trip in case of any offer or promotion up to 30 days before the trip. Therefore, if at the time of the reservation is active, any promotion, it is possible that the participants pay different prices for the same trip.
2.4. The price of the adventures will be set in relation to the rate of exchange of the currency of the country of destination. The reference exchange rate will be the u.s. dollar (USD).
3. PAYMENT AND FORMS
3.1. The payment in full of the adventure, as well as the payment of fees, you must do them according to the dates determined by the company, otherwise they will apply a surcharge for the expiration of the same. Voltage may terminate the contract prior to departure if you do not make any of the payments agreed on the term that matches it.
3.2. Forms of Payment
3.2.1. Si realizas el pago con tarjeta de crédito, deberás cumplir con el pago de la tarjeta en tiempo y forma. Debes tener en cuenta que puedes llegar a incurrir en gastos dependiendo de la tarjeta que utilices y del banco emisor de la misma. Volate en ningún caso se hace cargo de dichos gastos.

4. AIR FARES
4.1. The price of the tour does not include airfare, international or otherwise unless expressly provided for in the descriptions of the journey. Voltage quoted the best price available for the travel dates requested at the time of providing advice. The contributions provide an estimate, only, and are not a commitment of firm price by Voltage.
4.2. Voltage is not responsible for the changes in the itineraries air or flight times and provides alerts on air tickets, flight status or delays
5. PERSONAL DATA AND DOCUMENTS
5.1. To participate in any adventure, it is mandatory that you provide correct all the data required for the Voltage, as well as, it will be necessary that you submit your travel documents scanned to be previously confirmed by your account.
5.2. It is your responsibility to make sure you have your passport or national id and valid under optimal conditions, as well as to have the necessary visas, permits or certificates as appropriate. The company, in any case, be responsible for any problems, delays, or permission denied in case you do not have the necessary travel documents.
6. HEALTH AND MEDICAL CARD
6.1. It is your responsibility and you agree to find suitable physical, psychological, and mentally, and at the same time, the lack of contraindications to develop all the activities proposed in the adventure.
6.2. It is your responsibility to inform the company about any type of disease, allergies, medication, and/or any other relevant information related to your health that may affect the development of the adventure and/or can influence the activities to be developed. You must provide the company with the medical records, when requested to do so, with the updated data. Voltage reserves the right to require more information or a professional medical opinion, if necessary, for your safety and the safety of the trip.
6.3. It is understood that the company shall not be responsible for any inconveniences inherent to your health, which have not been or are not reflected in the medical record and/or who have been or not been reported previously.
6.4. You alone are responsible for considering whether the trip is recommended for you or not. If you had doubts, you should consult your doctor if you are able to travel and perform the activities planned in the adventure. Voltage in no case will provide you with medical advice. It is your responsibility to take the risks and requirements of the trip according to your own physical characteristics, limitations and requirements of such doctor.
6.5. You have to take into account that the conditions and medical facilities, and/or health in the countries that you visit in each adventure, may vary, and the company gives no warranty in relation to the availability of medical care in each place.
6.6. The coordinators do not have medical knowledge nor are responsible for the health of the participants of the adventure. Will be available to help you and assist you, if necessary, in the transfer to the care center nearest you, however, any and all costs that may arise shall be borne by you and/or your
health insurance.
6.7. Pregnancy is considered a medical condition and you will need to inform the company at the time of booking. Voltage reserves the right to stop participating in their activities to any woman in state of pregnancy.
6.8. Voltage reserves the right to deny any person the permission to travel or participate in any time and/or appearance of the adventure, if you feel that your physical or mental condition is not adequate.
6.9. Any special requirement in terms of the power must be connected to Voltage at the time of booking, however this will not guarantee that you will be able to meet. Voltage shall make all reasonable efforts to adapt to the requirements or special requests, but this may not always be possible given the nature of the destinations visited and the availability of options.
7. CONCERNING THE TRIP
7.1. It is your responsibility to learn more about the dynamic of the trip. You have to take into account that every adventure involves being in constant motion, traveling to different places and doing various activities. Prior to the adventure, you agree to be informed about the itinerary and the activities to be performed, by which you have in mind that we will use various means of transport, as well as there will also be instances in which you should walk with your luggage to one terminal or accommodation.
7.2. You recognize it as your responsibility to read the information corresponding to the adventure prior to booking. So you can also require the company to more information if needed.
7.3. Voltage will provide information through its website, and/or by means of a document in pdf format of each of the adventures. The company, once you have confirmed your place on the trip by a reservation, it will provide more information regarding the same.
7.4. You are responsible for informing you about the itinerary, destinations, price and what is included or not the adventure, activities, lodgings, and of the proposal in general to assess whether it is acceptable, or not, to your taste. At the same time, you are responsible for being sure of having understood the logistics and dynamics of the trip. You agree to read carefully the information that you provide, then, prior to the adventure, be able to clarify doubts.
7.5. When you book an adventure with a destination preset, you acknowledge that you have taken knowledge of the particularities of the same around the culture and habits as well as the idiosyncrasies of the place. Voltage will provide you with tips and basic information of the place in which it will make the adventurous, but it is your responsibility to find out in more depth or according to your taste.
7.6. The recommendations that Voltage you make in relation to the extra money that you have to wear, you'll have to take it as such, so that will work as a guide to keep in mind during the adventure. The company, in no case be held responsible for that spend more money than recommended.
7.7. Assume that according to the type of adventure that is offered in each trip, the same can be affected and/or changed by external situations, that is to say, climatic factors, natural disasters, political problems-social, public health problems, crime, pandemics, among others.
7.8 En caso de que las autoridades migratorias de cualquier país nieguen el ingreso al viajero por cualquier motivo, la empresa no se hace responsable de los gastos o inconvenientes que esto pueda generar. Inclusive perderá la totalidad del paquete ya pagado con Volate o Michael Uzcategui. Es responsabilidad del viajero cumplir con los requisitos migratorios exigidos por cada destino.
8. ACCEPTANCE OF RISK
8.1. At the time of booking you acknowledge that the travel adventures and the products and services offered by Voltage may involve a significant amount of risk for your health and safety. When traveling with Voltage, you acknowledge that you have considered any potential risks to health and safety. For this, you assume the responsibility for all such risks, and you release Voltage all claims and causes of action arising out of any loss, damage, injury or death resulting from risks inherent in travel, including adventure travel specifically, visiting foreign destinations, and participating in adventure activities. Voltage required to confirm your assumption of this responsibility by completing the form, Assumption and Recognition of Responsibility, before starting the journey.
8.2. You acknowledge that at all times you must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of all countries and regions. If you do not comply with the above or commit any illegal act during the trip, Voltage may terminate your travel arrangements on any product or service immediately at your expense and without any liability. You will not be entitled to any refund for services not used or lost, or costs incurred as a result of the termination of your travel arrangements, including, among others, return flights, accommodation, meals and incidentals.
8.3. You are responsible for any cost (including fees, repair,replacement and cleaning) incurred by Voltage for property damage, destruction or theft caused by you during a tour. You agree to immediately report any pre-existing damage to a representative of the Voltage and the staff of the accommodation, transportation service, or facility as soon as possible after its discovery.
8.4. You agree to take all prudent measures in relation to their own safety during the trip, including, among others, the proper use of the safety devices (including safety belts, harnesses, flotation devices, helmets, etc.), and obey all signs and warnings, written or oral. in terms of health and safety. Neither Voltage nor its suppliers are liable for any loss or damage caused by your failure to follow instructions or safety warnings.
9. FLEXIBILITY AND SERVICES NOT USED
9.1 You acknowledge that the nature of adventure travel requires flexibility and acknowledge that you will allow reasonable modifications to the products, services or itineraries by Voltage. The path, the times, the accommodation, the activities, amenities and mode of transport are subject to change without prior notice due to unforeseen circumstances or events beyond the control of Voltage (including, without limitation, Force majeure, illness, mechanical breakdown, flight cancellations, strikes, political events and difficulties of entry or border, etc). Not issue refunds, discounts or refunds for services that may be lost or not used after the output due to causes beyond the control Voltage.
10. COEXISTENCE DURING THE JOURNEY
10.1. You agree to be aware of the itinerary, and be able to live with other adventurers, and with a coordinator, applying always and in any situation, respect and tolerance.
10.2. You agree to comply with the directions of the coordinators of Voltage during the adventure. Likewise, you acknowledge that you will comply with laws and regulations that implicit and explicit of the countries visited during the voyage, including their customs and cultural constraints of the same.
10.3. You agree that for the safety and concern for group welfare, coordinators and guides for the journey could come to any decision that involves making changes in the itinerary.
10.4. It is your responsibility to comply with the schedules and meeting points set forth previously by the coordinators of Voltage for the development of each of the activities. In case you don't find the time and/or place indicated, the coordinators will be able to continue with the normal development of the itinerary, and you lose the right to participate in the activity.
10.5. You are solely responsible for loading your luggage. It is your decision what to baggage and how much weight to load. Voltage will advise you regarding the type of luggage that you'll need to take for every adventure. The company, in any case, will be in charge of claims in relation to the luggage.
10.6. You are solely responsible for your expenses. If you get a debt with another adventurer to the hostel for consuming something, coordinators and Voltage, in no event shall be responsible for those debts.
10.7. You are solely responsible for the care of your belongings during the entire trip, as well as to comply with the safety tips provided by the coordination team. The coordinators and Voltage will not be responsible, nor are they responsible for the loss, theft, or damage to the belongings of the adventurers.
10.8. Voltage in no case be held responsible for the possible problems and/or personal conflicts that may arise during the adventure around the co-existence of the group. Each one is responsible for their own behavior. The issues around living together in no case are the responsibility of the coordinator, this will never be responsible of internal conflicts.
10.9. You agree to respect their peers in the accommodations, and agree that the rooms where you sleep will be chosen at random and may differ with other colleagues in the small things: a room a little more small, bright or loud another for example
11. ITINERARY
11.1. The itinerary of the adventure you can have modifications and variations both before and during the trip by factors external to Voltage. You agree and understand that the company may decide to make changes and/or changes in the itinerary for the good of the majority of the group. 12. FORCE MAJEURE
12.1. Voltage shall not be liable in any way for death, bodily injury, illness, damage, delay or other loss or injury to person or property, or financial costs incurred directly and indirectly by any of them, if they are caused by force majeure, that is to say; war or operations similar to war, mechanical breakdowns, terrorist activities or threat thereof, civil commotions, labor difficulties, interference by authorities, political unrest, as it is and wherever that may arise or be caused, riot, insurrection and government restrictions, fires, extreme weather conditions, significant risks to human health such as the outbreak of serious illness, including any mutation or variation of, and the ongoing effects of COVID-19 or SARs-COV2, or any other cause which is beyond the reasonable control of Voltage or its service providers.
13. MARKETING AND ADVERTISING
13.1. Voltage can use promotions of price and advertising strategy groups to complete each adventure.
13.2. The images and videos used in the advertisements are illustrative and used for advertising purposes so that you can in the time you go to that place is not exactly equal to the photography on the differences in climate or other factors external to the company.
13.3. You agree that Voltage and its suppliers can take pictures and make videos where you are while you are participating in a tour/journey of the company. You agree that these photos and videos can be used as marketing material and/or advertising of the company and its subcontractors. This photographic material and audio-visual, may be used for Voltage without requiring your consent, or by making any payment to use it.
14. CONTRACTING PARTIES AND SUCCESSORS
14.1. These Terms will inure to the benefit of and shall be binding upon the parties and their respective heirs, legal representatives, and personal, executors, trustees, successors and assigns.
15. CANCELLATION POLICIES
15.1. When you book an adventure, you agree that the money paid for such reservation is non-refundable, stacked or transferable by the company from the point at which you make the same start to take the steps and corresponding booking, either of the activities, accommodation and transport required to carry on the adventure.
15.2. If, after having made a reservation you want to cancel your participation in the adventure, you need to contact the company by e-mail to the box hola@volateadventures.com or hi@volateadventures.com indicating in the subject “Cancellation of the journey”, from that moment on, apply the cancellation policies for each trip, detailed on the website.
15.3. If during the adventure you have an unanticipated severity or any situation of force majeure that you impossible to continue with the same, we will prorate the cost of the trip considering the days that are gone, those that are and also take into account the bookings that have already been made and cannot be refunded. If you fold the trip for a reason that is not serious or unexpected Voltage in no case be obliged to perform some sort of refund of what you paid for the adventure.
15.4. Cancelación por falta de Pasajeros
Si no se alcanza el mínimo de 8 pasajeros requeridos para llevar a cabo la aventura, Volate se reserva el derecho de cancelar el viaje. En caso de cancelación debido a esta razón, se te notificará con al menos 10 días de antelación a la fecha de salida programada. En tal situación, tendrás derecho a elegir entre:
a) Solicitar un reembolso del monto pagado por la aventura.
b) Optar por transferir el monto pagado a otra aventura ofrecida por Volate en una fecha posterior.
En ningún caso Volate será responsable por gastos adicionales incurridos por el pasajero como consecuencia de la cancelación del viaje debido a la falta de pasajeros, incluyendo, pero no limitándose a, gastos de transporte, alojamiento, seguros, entre otros.
